Directing Blessing

Eleemosynary ~ Feb.15

Actual blogging…

Well, that clearly didn’t happen… which is unfortunate for many reasons.

1. I was supposed to be journaling for my grade on this, but I wasn’t.

2. I wish I had those notes for myself.

3. This became a poster design blog (but I suppose I used it how I needed it).

Our finished poster.
LOVE.
Apparently I really just want to reblog posters.
Love this one.
I can’t wait to see what ours is going to look like.

Setting the rehearsal schedule…

is driving me nuts.

I keep forgetting that I have power to change it as necessary, etc. I am just worried I am going to give myself enough space or have unaccounted for time or something. AH.

Whomp whomp.

Just found out my ask wasn’t enabled. Oops. It is now.

On researching other productions of the show…

I know some people think you should close your mind to anything and everything about any previous production of a show you are working on, but I don’t think so.

I couldn’t duplicate someone else’s show if I wanted to… and I don’t. But I also don’t want to duplicate anyone’s mistakes or ignore what may be solutions I haven’t considered… or more importantly, problems I haven’t considered.

The way the promotional materials tie into the set design is amazing. It really streamlines the image of the show. (Open the read more to see.)
